« Conversational Capital » by Sid Lee (and when technology facilitates word of mouth)

Everything is becoming easier. Forty-eight hours ago, I was using my iPhone to read

Provokat’s post about the release of “Conversational Capital” written by the people at Sid Lee. This morning, said book was on my desk. I wasn’t trying to find new reading material, but I heard about it, I acted, I received, and I will consume… all this instantaneously, thanks to our friends in the Internets.

The book states and shows the power, the triggers and the engines of word of mouth. It’s been around forever but it’s only recently that people started thinking about ways to optimise and ‘control’ it (but by definition, it is not we who control what is said and is conveyed about our brands).

I’ll surely be devouring the almost-200 pages and feed the word of mouth here. I’m just wondering if upon finishing the book, I’ll have an after-taste of promo for Sid Lee
