Are You Possessed?

p>This article is dedicated to a close friend of mine who has a lot of trouble sleeping at night, due to insomnia. That being said, let’s try to understand to causes of this sleep disorder. The brain is an extraordinary machine that deals with an infinite number of operations in a second; what we call thinking is an on-going process done by this amazing computer. I’m bringing up the thought process because it is often one of the first causes of insomnia, active even when you are lying in bed, in a state of inactivity. As the thought process takes over consciousness while you are trying to rest, your body spends a surprising amount of energy. This unnecessary waste of energy affects the recuperation process and leaves you feeling exhausted the next day. To put an end to this type of abuse, you must communicate with this autonomous entity inside you.

I, for one, like to get pissed off and scream at it, but never out loud. On the contrary, I try to communicate with this entity the same way it communicates with me.
