Good days ahead for social platforms

In 2007, internet users spent 15.3 hours/week online (contrary to 9.1 hours in 2001).

A study conducted by Nielsen shows that internet users spend 10% of their time online connecting on social networks like Facebook or Twitter, or blogs. That makes them web celebrities, seeing as two-thirds of the world’s population visit these kinds of sites.
