<p>Dutch artist Helmut Smits created a “Dead Pixel in Google Earth”. It’s a 82cm_ patch of burnt grass, which is the size of a pixel when you’re at an altitude of 1km in Google Earth.</p>
<p>I love the idea that reality and virtual reality can mingle in such a way.<br />
The story doesn’t say how many dead pixels Earth is under warranty for, though…</p>
