Selling is also beautiful on the web! E-commerce at its best (or not?)

I have to admit I don’t know what to think of this site: arngren.net

It is incredibly poorly designed for an online catalogue — the pages are way overloaded with content and images. When you select a product, all the images and text are set in what seems like an anarchic layout that is more or less dictated by the code.
Then again, this absence of design makes it design! There is so little graphical compromise that I end up finding the site very modern. No graphic design for the sake of graphic design, and no showy flash! Only the product and the relevant information.
I would like to take a look at its statistics and see if the clients get the knack of it. Seeing as how I don’t speak Norwegian, the meaning of some of those pages is lost to me…
