A few weeks ago, we announced on Twitter that we had three new recruits in our team (yes, Toast is on Twitter, and so am I).
You’ve already met Lionel and Julie on the blog. As for Karim, he is looking at it and quietly preparing his contributions.

BOOM AT TOAST STUDIO!
Montreal, April 7, 2009 — Spring always brings its share of change and Toast is no exception. The Montreal-based design studio is working on several new projects that integrate brand image standardization, interactive development, and a full array of technological solutions, which is why it is welcoming three new players in its team.
On the creation side, Lionel Michée (formerly at Trafik in Lyon) is coming in as our new interactive art director. Armed with six years of experience spent working with clients such as the National School of Fine Arts of Lyon and the Chamonix Tourist Office, he brings a vast expertise (signs, identity, interface, print) to Toast’s interactive service. Joining the same team is Karim Robai (formerly at Corus and Nstein in Montreal), who is making good use of his ten years of experience and knowledge as an interactive developer. He has a strong background in designing, planning and programming large scale interactive solutions.
Finally, Julie Dufour (formerly at OgilgyOne in Paris) is joining customer service as a project manager and will make good use of the experience she acquired managing projects for major clients like Nestlé and Montblanc.
Toast was one of the first new media companies — it started out in 1999 as a firm dedicated to interactive and web development. Throughout the years, the studio improved its service offer by including every other media. The team’s 360 degrees approach has proved its worth — from strategic development to production, Toast takes into account all distribution platforms as the projects advance. Its team of seven also provides interactive, printed and advertising tools.
