CREATIVITY. NOW HERE’S A RICH TOPIC

I have great admiration for the work of creatives, as they give shape to an idea. How many times have I come to a brief having no clue about its creative solution? How many times has the speed of the creative process astonished me?

Yet, the steps are always about the same: Once you’ve identified the issue, there is a brainstorming phase. You can’t be satisfied with one single concept. An idea must be challenged, and fueled by other images.

What’s most frustrating is that it’s all done for the sole purpose of sorting out and to make sure that you got the right concept. Only after that does the question of rendering appears.

What if we were all slightly creative? This clip, entitled “Push your Ideas” is quite effective and teaches us a bit more about the creative process and its little recipes. Apparently, you just need to believe in your ideas . . . So, let’s do it to it!
