The year 2020 would not be complete without our best wishes to you, your teams and your loved ones… along with a short list of our best posts of the year.

Phew what a year!

A year punctuated with emotions, surprises (some good, some bad), strong moments, darker moments.

The entire team at Toast would like to wish you a holiday season that will be a balm, a conclusion to a year that we will remember for a long time.

We also got through it at Toast and are coming out of it greater, more united, stronger as a team and ready to face what 2021 will bring us.

So it is with great gratitude, kindness and hope that we wish you a very happy new year.

In the meantime, in order to remain faithful to our habits, we won’t let you leave without recommending a few things to read, this time taken from our most important articles of the year 2020, which generated the most reactions and engagement from you.

It is obvious that some of our posts were to address themes related to the pandemic. It is from a McKinsey report that we touched on the subject of adapting your content in a post-COVID-19 era and it is via an article from SocialBakers that we discussed marketing in times of recession. But the pandemic, social distancing and confinement were not the only topics that caught your attention. There was the guide introducing the Alpha generation (the one that follows the Boomers and Millennials) which was of great interest to you, and then the newsletter that made the link between attraction marketing and content seemed to have an effect on you. But beyond articles that make you think about your own content practices, some more tactical articles stood out, such as the one about the eternal question between reach versus frequency, and finally the use of empathy in your content.

It is therefore on these few links that the year ends, that we salute you and look forward to seeing you again in 2021, thanking you for your much appreciated presence. See you next year!
